About Pausito - Guess the Picture
Pausito - Guess the Picture is a free game for a quick break. A picture appears bit by bit: first black, then an outline, then colour and finally the photo. Can you recognise it first? Pick the right answer from four options.
How to play
- You have 60 seconds.
- Tapping reveals faster but costs 4 seconds. Waiting is free.
- A wrong answer costs 8 seconds. The time you have left is your score.
- More than 250 pictures in 17 themes: from animals and desserts to fantasy.

Guess the Picture is made by VDCO BV, a small Belgian company. We make most pictures ourselves with AI; some come from Wikimedia Commons (see Image credits).

What we store on your device
We use no third-party cookies or trackers. The game does keep a few items in your own browser (local storage, session storage and the browser cache). Items marked only with your consent are only created after you say Yes.

Who receives your data?
Only parties that help us run the game: our hosting provider (Combell, in the EU) and, once the shop opens, Stripe for payments. They process data on our instructions; for fraud prevention and its own legal obligations, Stripe is itself responsible (see Stripe's privacy policy). If we use an AI service to draft a reply to your question, it is only a service that works on our instructions and does not use your message to train AI models. We sell nothing and share nothing with advertisers. If data leaves the EU (e.g. with Stripe), this happens with the legal safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or the EU standard contractual clauses.
Ads
We currently show no ads. If we decide to do so later, we'll update this text beforehand: you'll read which ad partner we use and what data it receives. Ads and measurements that need consent only start after you say Yes, and saying No is just as easy.
Children
Anyone can play, also without an account.
- Account: for an account you must be at least 13, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
- Statistics: in Belgium you can give consent yourself from the age of 13 (art. 7 of the Act of 30 July 2018). If you're younger, let a parent or guardian choose.
- Purchases: if you're under 18, only buy with permission from a parent or guardian.
If we find that we hold a child's data without valid consent, we delete it.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data, restrict processing, object, and take your data with you. You withdraw your consent for statistics with the switch in the menu; this applies from that moment. Send a message via Help (category Privacy) or email support@pausito.com. We reply within one month. You can delete data stored in your own browser yourself, via your browser settings.
Complaints
Tell us first and we'll look for a solution. You can always lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be, contact@apd-gba.be — or with the authority in your own EU country.
Changes
If we change this text, the date at the top changes. If we make major changes, we'll let you know in the game beforehand.
We also count daily requests for public pages and uses of certain buttons. These retained totals contain no IP address, cookie, installation ID or referring website. Repeat requests and bots may count; these are not unique visitor counts.

Welcome to Pausito - Guess the Picture, a game by VDCO BV (company number 0665.912.027, Jasmijnstraat 15, 9620 Zottegem, Belgium; support@pausito.com). By playing you agree to these terms. For purchases, the rules under Purchases also apply; you accept those expressly when you pay.
The game
- Guess the Picture is free. Ads may be added later; we'll announce that beforehand in the game and in the privacy notice.
- The game works in a recent version of the common browsers (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on phone, tablet and computer. You need an internet connection; pictures that have already loaded can also be played offline.
- We do our best to keep the game working, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change the game, replace pictures or discontinue it.
- As a guest, your progress is only stored in your browser. If you clear your browser data, it's gone. With an account we keep it online.
Play fair
Play for fun. Don't try to hack or overload the game or the server, or play it with bots, and don't misuse the help and report features. Otherwise we may limit access.
Pictures and content
- Most pictures are made with AI for us; you can recognise them by the label Original picture, made with AI on the card. Some come from Wikimedia Commons, under the licence shown with each picture (via Image source).
- You may not copy or sell the game, the texts or our own pictures without permission. Sharing via the share button is of course fine.
- Players cannot publish pictures or texts in the game themselves.
Reporting content
- Is a picture or answer wrong, do you find it inappropriate or illegal, or does it infringe your rights (e.g. your copyright or image rights)? Tap Report this picture on the card, or email support@pausito.com with the picture, the reason and — if you'd like a reply — your name and email address.
- We review every report carefully and objectively, usually within 2 working days. We may hide a reported picture straight away until we've reviewed it.
- If you gave an email address, we'll tell you what we decided and why.

Purchases (not yet available)
Later you'll be able to buy extras in the game: ad-free play (€3.99: you no longer see ads in Guess the Picture, for as long as the game exists) and theme packs (€2.99 per theme: an extra set of pictures). Prices include VAT; there are no extra costs. There are no subscriptions, coins or loot boxes.
- How to buy: you need an account. You choose a product, see the total price and pay through Stripe with a button that clearly says you are paying. Your purchase then appears in your account straight away, on every device where you sign in, and you receive a confirmation email.
- Right of withdrawal: as a consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase. We deliver digital content immediately, but only if, before payment, you tick a separate box (not pre-ticked) to expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. The confirmation email states that choice. If you don't tick the box, we deliver after 14 days.
- Withdrawing: under My purchases, each purchase shows Withdraw from contract here for 14 days. You can also email support@pausito.com. You'll get an acknowledgement of receipt by email straight away. If you have a right of withdrawal, we refund you within 14 days via your original payment method.
- Money back: if you ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase, we normally refund automatically, once per account. This is an extra service from us, not a legal right.
- Purchase not working as promised? You always have your statutory rights (legal guarantee of at least 2 years): we first fix it, and if that fails you get a price reduction or your money back — also after 14 days. Contact us via Help.
- Game closing down? We'll announce it in the game at least 3 months beforehand. Your statutory rights continue to apply.
- Minors: if you're under 18, only buy with permission from a parent or guardian. Has a child bought something without permission? Contact us via Help and we'll find a solution together.
Liability
The game is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost progress, except in case of intent or gross negligence. This never limits your statutory rights as a consumer, nor our liability for death or personal injury.
Changes
We may change these terms, for example for new features or a change in the law. We'll announce major changes in the game beforehand. What you have already bought will not change to your disadvantage.
Law and disputes
Belgian law applies. If we can't resolve a dispute together, you can turn to the Belgian Consumer Ombudsman Service (contact us first yourself) or the competent court. As a consumer you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.

Some photos come from Wikimedia Commons, taken by volunteers and shared under a free licence such as CC BY or CC BY-SA. For each of these pictures the game shows, under Image source:
