Photo Pairs is the classic card-matching game, right in your browser. All the cards lie face down. You flip two. If they match, they stay face up. If not, they turn back and you remember where they were. The game is over once you have found all the pairs.
You choose how to play. In Casual you look for 6 pairs with no clock, and you get a quick glimpse of the first pair beforehand. It is ideal for looking at the pictures calmly. In Challenge you find 8 pairs in 90 seconds. Expert is for those who want more of a thrill: 10 pairs in 90 seconds, and every mistake costs you 3 seconds. The most exciting mode is at the top, the calmest at the bottom.
Each game uses one theme from Guess the Picture, for example baby animals, safari animals, street food or natural wonders. Most pictures are our own images, made with AI. Some are photos and paintings from Wikimedia Commons. After the game, every picture shows its credit: the creator and licence, or a note that it was made with AI.
A few tips. Start in a corner and work row by row, so it is easier to remember where a card was. Look not only at the subject but also at colour and shape, because pictures from the same theme sometimes look alike. And in Expert it pays to think for a moment before you tap: a mistake costs time.
You don't need an account and there is nothing to install. Finding pairs fits nicely into a short break: you look at lovely pictures and remember where they are. Prefer a picture quiz? Try Guess the Picture or see all games.
