How often must an oil boiler be inspected in Wallonia?

In Wallonia, have a central heating boiler that burns heating oil, wood or pellets inspected every year by a certified technician.

During the periodic inspection, the technician measures combustion and checks whether the installation meets Walloon requirements. The interval runs from the date the boiler was first put into service, with a margin of 3 months. If the boiler fails, the fault must be repaired within 5 months.

Wallonia (Belgium): under the Walloon Government decree of 29 January 2009, the user must have a central heating system burning liquid or solid fuel inspected every year by a certified technician. Above 20 kW an in-depth assessment is also required, repeated only after the installation is changed.
