How often should you wash your pet’s toys?

Wash your dog’s or cat’s toys once a month, or more often if they are visibly dirty.

Toys are covered in saliva and end up all over the house and garden. NSF recommends washing them monthly, or more often if needed. Hard toys can often go in the dishwasher, soft ones in the washing machine.
