How often should you replace the cabin air filter?

Replace your car’s cabin air filter once a year or every 15,000 km, whichever comes first.

The cabin air filter (pollen filter) cleans the air that enters the car through the ventilation. A clogged filter stops less pollen and fine dust, and the windows mist up faster. Many garages replace it during the annual service.

  1. Check the service book for where the filter is and which type you need
  2. Have it replaced during the service or do it yourself following the manual
  3. When fitting, follow the airflow arrow
  4. Note the date and mileage
