How often should you clean your aquarium glass?
Clean the inside of your aquarium glass once a week, with an algae magnet or scraper.
Algae build-up blocks your view and can point to too many nutrients in the water. Aquania puts cleaning the glass in the weekly maintenance, together with siphoning the gravel. Work from top to bottom and catch loose algae with a net.
- Carefully scrape deposits off the inside of the glass
- Work from top to bottom
- Catch loosened algae with a net
- Check that the view is clear again
