How often should you clear leaves in autumn?

In autumn, clear the leaves from your lawn, patio and paths at least once a week.

A thick layer of wet leaves smothers the lawn and makes the patio and paths slippery. Evergreen Garden Care recommends clearing your lawn at least once a week while the leaves are falling. Compost the leaves or use them as mulch under shrubs.

4. Keep the lawn and paths clear so the grass doesn’t get smothered
