How often should you have your gas boiler serviced?

Have your gas boiler serviced every 2 years by a certified technician.

A poorly maintained boiler uses more, breaks down more often and is more likely to cause incomplete combustion and carbon monoxide (CO). Book an appointment in good time and keep the technician’s certificate.

3. Have cleaning, checks and adjustment carried out

In Flanders, a gas boiler of 20 kW or more must by law be serviced every two years by a certified technician, with a margin of at most 3 months. For oil-fired boilers of 20 kW or more and solid-fuel boilers (all outputs), the obligation is annual.
