How often should you clean a kamado BBQ?
Clean the grill and ash drawer of your kamado (such as a Big Green Egg) after every session, and at least once a week during the BBQ season from spring to autumn.
Built-up ash blocks the air supply, making it harder to keep the temperature stable. Let the kamado burn out completely and cool down first. Keep the top and bottom vents free of ash.

- Brush the grill clean with a grill brush
